Is the quoted price final?
You receive a written, itemised quote after your clinical assessment. The confirmed fee covers everything listed in your plan. Additional treatment is only carried out with your agreement.
When do I pay?
Payment schedules are confirmed in writing before you travel. A deposit may be required to secure your dates; the balance is typically settled according to the partner clinic's terms, which are shared upfront.
What if extra treatment is needed?
If the clinical team identifies additional needs during your assessment or visit, you are informed before any extra work proceeds. Nothing is added without your written agreement.
Do you charge a consultation fee?
Initial assessment and written quote preparation are included. There is no separate consultation fee for reviewing your X-rays and providing a price breakdown.
Can I pay in instalments?
Instalment options depend on the partner clinic and your treatment plan. Ask when you receive your written quote and we will confirm what is available.
Are there hidden costs with dental implants in Turkey?
Common market upsells include a second-visit prosthetic charged later, arrival CBCT sold as an extra, grafting offered to every patient, and unnamed implant brands. OrbisMed issues an itemised GBP plan before you fly: implants, imaging, provisional and definitive stages, stated hotel nights and transfers. Flights are excluded. Any clinically indicated add-on (for example grafting) appears in writing after CBCT — not as a surprise at check-in.
Will the NHS fix my implants if something goes wrong after Turkey?
The NHS may treat urgent pain, swelling or infection through emergency pathways. It does not typically remake elective overseas implant bridges or cosmetic work for free. Plan for private maintenance and optional complication cover coordination — do not assume the NHS will 'fix Turkey teeth' if you dislike shade or shape.
Do I need bone grafting for All-on-4 — and could that mean a third visit?
Not always. Many full-arch cases proceed without grafting when tilted or zygomatic options are suitable. Grafting or sinus elevation, if needed, should follow CBCT findings — not a sales script on arrival. Extra healing time or a rare third visit is discussed in your written plan only when clinically indicated.
Will I receive an implant passport for my UK dentist?
Yes. On completion you should receive implant documentation listing brand, model and lot or serial numbers, plus CBCT export and surgical/prosthetic reports where available. Keep copies for UK hygiene, warranty assessment and any future maintenance.
What about handover to my UK dentist after treatment?
Inform your UK dentist before you travel (GDC advice). Many practices will help with hygiene and maintenance when records are complete; some limit remakes of work they did not plan. OrbisMed coordinates documentation and aftercare queries with the contracted clinic — we do not replace your UK dentist's clinical judgement.
How do I verify OrbisMed and the clinic on HealthTürkiye?
Search authorised providers on the HealthTürkiye portal (healthturkiye.gov.tr). Confirm the clinic's International Health Tourism Authorisation and OrbisMed Travel's intermediary certificate AK-1013.
